A project is the working unit in arKItect; it is like a document in MS Word. When doing your development work, you will spend most of your time within a project. The major difference with a MS Word document is that an arKItect project can be shared by several users. These users have the possibility to work together on the same project, even simultaneously.

You will see later how to work with projects.

Here is an overview of an arKItect project:

In the screenshot above, you can locate projections, the treeview, the Internal Block Diagram, the Ribbon, its Categories and Panel and the tabs to special views. All these concepts will be described further in the documentation. Let us start with projections.
