The baseline tool is hidden by default, it must be set visible by an arKItect Designer.

Tool Description

Baselines are a specification or product that has been formally reviewed and agreed upon, that thereafter serves as the basis for further development, and that can be changed only through formal change control procedures ([IEEE 610 Standard Computer Dictionary] / ISO 15288).

In SEA, baselines are a tool which allow to define a requirements baseline and then manage changes to that baseline. It allows the users to define precisely the set of requirements they agreed on and discuss any given development request. Stakeholders should be participating in the baseline definition and evolution so that the requirement review and assessment include a global agreement.

arKItect SEA provides a requirement Baseline control board which are able to generate normalized deliverables. It provides integrated tracking functionalities of all system's requirements evolution while giving the user the right to postpone a change or change the scope on the fly (extending or excluding requirements to the basic scope). As an integrated arKItect tool, it is able to work with a functional or physical architecture approach. This top-down flexibility secures the project coherence and verifiability.
