You can add an existing type as the child of a new parent. To do this, select Add Rule from the right-click menu of the new parent and choose an existing name in the combo-box of the Type Properties window. The copied child can be defined as a flow or non-flow independently of the type of the existing child(ren).

It is also possible to copy an existing type to a new parent by a simple drag-and-drop. The relation is by default an element relation.

When an existing child type with a relation of type flow is copied to a new parent, the relation loses its definition as a flow. You must go to the Type Properties and check the Flow is defined case in order to change the relation to a flow.
